PGY1 Pharmacy Residency: Trinity Health Ann Arbor

Future goals: I would like to (1) become a board-certified critical care pharmacist and (2) work as a clinical pharmacy specialist in a critical care setting.

What attracted me to THMI: I truly enjoyed working with the preceptors involved in the PGY2 critical care program here at THAA as a PGY1. Their passion for both patient care and precepting was evident in our daily interactions. I learned something new every single day, and I felt that I was given the trust and support that I needed to grow as a new pharmacist. Many of the medical residents, fellows, and attendings are truly supportive of this program and appreciate pharmacist involvement. THAA also offers numerous experiences in critical care and emergency med, making it ideal for PGY2. I felt confident that training at THAA would give me the skills and knowledge that I need to reach my career goals.

Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: hanging out with my boys (husband and two miniature schnauzers), wine tasting, cooking/baking, crocheting, binge watching TV shows, and playing video games.
