This Sesame Ginger Dressing recipe adds Asian flavor using toasted sesame oil and soy sauce. It goes well on a mixed greens salad or on a slaw with ingredients like shredded carrots and cabbage, cooked edamame, sesame seeds, and cilantro.
Makes ½ cup
    Ingredients:
  
- 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
 - 2 Tablespoons toasted sesame oil
 - 1 Tablespoon olive oil (or substitute another neutral oil)
 - 2 Tablespoons lime juice
 - 1 Tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
 - 2 teaspoons sugar (or substitute agave, honey, maple syrup)
 - 2-3 cloves garlic, peeled and finely minced
 - ½ teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated
 - ½ teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
 
    Directions:
  
- Prepare the garlic and ginger.
 - Combine all ingredients in a jar; put on the lid and shake well.
 - Let dressing sit for an hour to allow flavors to marry.
 - Refrigerate for up to seven days; allow to come to room temperature and shake before use.
